The Globe is a traditional Sussex weather boarded inn originally built in 1839 which has been extensively refurbished and now boasts a light and contemporary interior with a homely stove for those cold winter evenings and probably Rye’s best pub garden for summer drinking and eating.
We have a range of cask conditioned ales and a small but carefully chosen value for money wine list to suit all tastes. One of our highlights is our friendly gastropub style restaurant serving lunch and dinner using locally sourced produce wherever possible.
Our menus change on a regular basis and seek to reflect the seasons. Please take a look at our sample menus – we're sure you'll be tempted. After all we are regularly rated Rye's top restaurant by www.tripadvisor.com.
We're easy to find, just off the A268 (see Location) and there is plentiful parking (a rarity in Rye).
